"Wonderment - On ordinary days, sparks of wonder reveal the extraordinary."
Rarely-seen Delsin alumn Sentomea resurfaces on the M>O>S label with the Wonderment EP, brandishing a blissful quintet of tracks in his trademark style. Inspired by organic textures in both sound and image, his process begins with sound design as the foundation, while improvisation and hardware-based live performance shape the final outcome.
The EP opens with the title track "Wonderment" built around a slowly evolving pad and lo-fi 909 percussion, echoing far away memories from a NWAQ universe of sounds.
Second track "Passing through" lets the main sound pass through the complete frequency spectrum, resulting in a clunky house track drenched in mystery.
On the flip-side "Wind Of Bliss" brings liquid and sparkling analog sounds with a carefully chosen pad from the Andromeda galaxy. Followed by "To Spiral” - a lo-fi Detroit oriented journey with improvised play that doesn't need a kick to succeed. The EP closes with "Non-interference" - sometimes a minimal track doesn’t need a lot of time and polishing to be created; 2 hybrid synths, a 909 and a delay is sometimes sufficient.
