Germany's Perila makes a stunning solo debut on West Mineral with an album that marks a subtle new twist in her ambient explorations. Drawing from ASMR textures, tape hiss, dub-techno decay and shadowy vocal drones, she conjures a murky, dreamlike world of sonic introspection, all of which, we're told, is inspired by Carl Jung's phrase "all haste is of the devil."
