Danish producer Popup and founder of the NES label - a regular presence within the Regelbau orbit, arrives on Aurore 404 with a quartet of deep house cuts that balance supple groove with a faintly hypnotic sheen. 'Discovery' opens with a looping disco pulse with the groove circling patiently while small trumpet flickers glint through the rhythm. DJ Central's remix draws the track into deeper water, the drums tightening as synth textures and stray effects drift through the mix. 'Singo' loosens the mood with a buoyant bounce, soft pads floating above a nimble groove. Closing cut 'RK' settles into dreamier territory, pale chords hovering lightly over the rhythm and bringing the record to a gentle, luminous close.
